Inner growth, distraction, and money magic.

Inner growth would be growing as a spiritual person, and doing things like: knowing yourself, facing your fears, and even trying new things to learn more about yourself or face fears. Growth cannot happen if a person does not go outside their comfort zone.

Money can buy lots of things. Money can relieve a lot of anxieties. But money cannot buy a spouse that can really make you happy. Money an buy so many things that it can become a distraction from spiritual growth.

Is money magic external?

Nope, money magic just taps into the typical human property of greed. IMO greed is addiction to money. And addictions are no more than distractions, and they are often distractions from pain. A distraction will not cure the pain, it will simply make the pain go away temporarily. But the pain will always be there in the background.

Sometimes people become masters at hiding their pain and the realization of the pain leaves the consciousness to become subconscious. This makes it much harder to find the pain to deal with it.

So what’s next?

Money is just a tool, don’t let it become a distraction from finding real happiness.

Is money the root of all evil? No, because that relieves the individual of responsibility for falling for an addiction to money. Greed is the root of many bad things, and this happens due to individual choice.

The lack of personal responsibility is a big reason for parents failing children, and society simply failing.
