The churches that closed in Northern lower Michigan have closed because the people can no longer donate enough to keep them going. High inflation means people must save their money for necessities like food and rent. Rent is also going up. Also, people with a house and fixed rate mortgage will pay the same house payment.

Meanwhile, another report says US monthly expenses up $961 every month on average.

I personally know of another church having financial issues. It’s a very small church. If it doesn’t have enough people, there will not be enough to support the church, especially in hard financial times.
