Titanium finger rings may not be able to get cut off

I talked to a jeweler once when I was thinking of getting a titanium wedding ring. He said don’t do it. If they get stuck on your finger, they are so hard to cut off, even with a diamond Dremel bit, that some jewelers won’t even cut them off. Because the bits are so expensive and they can go through multiple bits. If you offer to pay them for every bit they go through they might cut it off. Be aware these bits can be $50usd or more each.
