Which people resisted the vax? And why?
Here’s a poll from June 2021 from Kaiser. Here are some reasons why people did not get vaccinated.
People who wanted to wait were mostly Republicans, Evangelicals and young people.
Most of the unvaccinated have a "wait and see" attitude.

Other major reasons include just not wanting to get the vaccine (43%), not trusting the government (38%), thinking they do not need the vaccine (38%), not believing the COVID-19 vaccines are safe (37%), and not trusting vaccines in general (26%).
From a comment on another site, a person mentions that the unvaccinated were primarily in the low educated, and highly educated groups, with people in the middle getting vaccinated the most. But why? Was there something different about how they were raised? Was there something different about the schools they went to?
Perhaps people who had big hardship during their lives, especially in their childhood, learned to think critically early on and retained that ability lest their very existence be erased. People who are in difficult or life-threatening situations as a kid have a tendency to be more detail-oriented, or they just don’t survive that long.
This article about a poll says vaccine resistance is still high among blue-collar workers. More breakdown of responses:
Nearly 48% of those who reported vaccine hesitancy expressed concern about side effects.
More than one-third didn't think they needed the shot, didn't trust the government, were waiting to see if the vaccine was safe or didn't trust COVID-19 vaccines specifically.
And 14.5% said they didn't like vaccines in general.
Workers in some occupations were more reluctant than others to take the jab. Hesitancy ranged from 9.6% among educators and people in life, physical or social sciences to a high of 46% (I think these tend to be liberal people) among workers in construction, oil and gas extraction and mining (I think these tend to be more conservative people).

White Americans (51%) are more likely to indicate they want the vaccine immediately than Black (38%) and Hispanic (42%) Americans. (This seems odd since Blacks and Hispanics are a major part of the Democrat support structure.)
Differences in vaccination intent is also linked to political identification. Only 32 percent of Republicans report having been vaccinated or intending to do so at the earliest opportunity.
1......I looked at the past and how many issues have been mishandled. Lead...asbestos..cigarettes..agent orange..baycol..bextra...darvocet...dalkon shield....thalidomide...DESSo I thought this is emergency use authorization which has not enough time and testing to be safe and effective yet. What are the risks?
2....I questioned why there was no treatment given to someone that I knew. He got COVID and was told to go home and if you can’t breathe go to the E.R. He ended up passing away. Scary! I researched and decided that I needed to know where I could get help if needed. I was prepared, got COVID and used FLCCC protocol with a Dr. Supervision.
3..I didn’t rely on information from main stream media. Since when are they medical experts?
The BIG problem in this country is that YOU ARE either black or white in various surveys! There seems to be no room for various shades of grey. There seems to be no room for the Open Minded critical thinkers who question authority no matter their political & religious background. I live in a rural area in the Sierra above Sacramento. Here there is a balance between politically conservative & liberal. However, when it comes to the jab, those for & against run the gamut from Old Farts, very religious, conservative, liberal, in other words, lots of grey! Personally, I'm OMA an almost 80yo grandmother & Open Minded Artist, as are my closest friends in this area. We have one thing in common NO JAB! Some have had CV19 & some have not, like I have not, but ALL are questioning the authority of the government powers that be in both political parties, as well as the health agencies formerly run by Fauci to dictate that we get a jab when we see daily news stories that jabbed people are "DYING SUDDENLY" especially the young & athletes! The JAB is a toxic poison to silently cull the population so that there are fewer people on the planet!!!
