Some people mentioned that they would only support it with a constitutional amendment which abolished income taxes. Without that amendment we would still technically have income taxes AND a 23% national sales tax, and you know congress would want both since spending programs is how they buy votes. Another person mentioned this would be extremely difficult for people on fixed incomes like seniors.
