This is appalling! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I am stunned.

You're stunned that the state media foists the statist candidates to further the statist goals?

Try to be kind. Not everyone has been keeping up with general news about this. Some people specialize in other topics. I know the situation is frustrating, it's been that way at least 40 years. But we should not be arguing amongst ourselves.

I'd hope that after the last three years there might be a little more skepticism. I guess optimists are going to be disappointed from time to time.

Anyway, what's your take on the Warren Report?

Hey Dave,

amazing finding this down in the bottom of the barrel of that bill!

I sent DeSantis a letter just NOW!

Suggest you and your readers follow up. Feel free to use my format:

to:governorron.desantis@eog.myflorida.com

Hello Governor Desantis,

I do not live in Florida, however, I am concerned for you and your citizens, for their liberty; having signed this bill into law it is hard to understand your 20% election edge. Do the citizens of Florida know about this?

From Florida bill SB2006 passed on May 24, 2021,

“ 1109 diseases that have significant morbidity or mortality and

1100 present a severe danger to public health.” and. . .

"1107 If the individual poses a danger to the public health,

1108 the State Health Officer may subject the individual to isolation

1109 or quarantine. If there is no practical method to isolate or

1110 quarantine the individual, the State Health Officer may use any

1111 means necessary to vaccinate or treat the individual.”

I see nothing in the bill’s context forcing the proof by the state that the communicable disease being prevented is deadly and to what extent. Often this can NOT be determined immediately or even 6 months into an epidemic. It makes no sense at all to put this much power into the State Health Officer(ONE person) with no oversight and with no requirement or specification for PROVING the morbidity level and no baseline morbidity level specified in the law. THIS is wrong; it provides unlawful power over individuals’ liberties.

My suggestion:

Please offer your legislature the opportunity to revise the bill to provide oversight, better definition of morbidity, and prevent concentration of power like this.

with Regards,

Great letter. While DeSantis seems good on the surface, a little TOO good, it makes me worry. Now, that he's officially a presidential candidate I'm worried a little more.

It would be interesting to see the list of states that can forcibly vax or treat by law.

Wow is there any politician left in this country that won’t sell the people down the river. If true I am so disappointed. If the people continue to cower they will continue to be crushed by the tyrannical bully. The tree of liberty is fed by the blood of tyrants and patriots.
